Waterfront Wednesday is back for its July installment.
The free event, produced by Louisville Public Media and Waterfront Park, brings three performers on July 27, including local band Routine Caffeine, Sarah Shook & the Disarmers, and the headliners for the night: Moon Taxi.
As of right now, the event is planned to begin on schedule, with gates opening at 5 p.m. and the music starting at 6 p.m.
Waterfront Wednesday is a rain or shine event, according to their website, but in the event of a cancellation, WFPK will post weather updates about possible delays on their social media sites.
There is rain in the forecast for Wednesday, but likely won't be happening during the shows -- perhaps a sprinkle or two. The ground will likely be wet, so prepare for damp or muddy grounds.
Reminder, you can't bring coolers, glass or alcohol, but there are food trucks and drink stands.
The last two shows are scheduled for Aug. 31 with Joan Osborne and Sept. 28 with Yonder Mountain String Band. More details.
