A local nonprofit club will bring screening exams to the park on Saturday.
During the United Way BBQ Showdown, the Duncan Noon Lions Club will provide a Mobile Screen Clinic from noon to 2 p.m. at Fuqua Park.
Corey Ahlfenger, president of the Duncan Noon Lions Club, shared in a recent Chamber meeting the club will bring two options for a Mobile Screening Clinic to town this month.
The club recently provided the Mobile Screen Clinic during the Senior Olympic Games at the Simmons Center on Thursday afternoon.
Ahlfenger said for those who missed the opportunity on Thursday, they will also set up at another Mobile Screening Unit at the United Way Barbecue fundraiser.
“We will be doing screenings for both adults and children from a bone density test, to cataract tests and blood pressure,” he said.
The Mobile Screen Unit is free and opening to the public.
